When is the last time you looked in the mirror? I’m not talking about the stares you give the eyeliner as it outlines your eyes or the look you give when your favorite lipstick seals your kiss… I’m talking about really looking at you… past all the things we use to enhance… the bare skin… the raw talent… the marks that tell your story…the essence of what makes you…you?

If you can’t answer this question, that’s okay because sooner or later it will be often, if not all the time. I tend to do this on the regular and it’s quite comforting…in fact it’s my secret to the armor I wear…not that I’m afraid of my surroundings, but the armor protects all that I’ve been blessed to carry. See what we carry deserves recognition and protection…because it is what makes us who we are… so my introduction is basically me telling you what I carry…because that is how you truly get to know me.

Now let’s be clear…I’m too much to sum up in one post so I’m happy to say that  this is just a few steps into a beautiful journey with yours truly. But let’s start off by saying…I carry God, marriage, family, friends, love, poetry, art, fashion, and much more.  Within these buckets are the very things that ignited what I’m doing now… making my debut to you.. my readers. I am a Queen creating space for other Queens to thrive by embracing all that they are. I carry the torch of a long line of strength and ambition. You will get to know more about me as we embark on this journey , but let’s pause on me…and tell me what do you see when you look in the mirror…what do you carry? It is my hope that as you vibe with me that you celebrate all that you are and all that you will be.
