Hey Love!
Hope all is well with you and yours😊 Todays post is all about Serving Face… now when I say serve… I’m not just talking about the makeup and the skin routines…I’m also talking about the confidence that we should radiate with it…
I’m not obsessed with makeup ,but I do have my favorite items that I keep in stock and the same goes for my skincare routine.
If you don’t have a skin care routine… it is something you should probably consider trying. This does not mean you have to have a gang of products, but take time to nourish your skin and be good to your body.
I like to think my skin care routine is pretty simple. The essentials for me is a cleanser, toner, hyaluronic acid serum, collagen serum, and moisturizer to start off my day and at night, a cleanser, toner, retinol, and moisturizer. These are just the basics as skin care can look different for everyone.
Although we as women enjoy a little enhancement from makeup, it’s definitely a plus when the foundation aka your skin is feeling good. Now as I mentioned earlier, I’m not obsessed with makeup, but I do have my go-to products. I was a little late to the game when it came to sunscreen, but after doing more research I definitely see the benefits. It’s hilarious that I only thought about sunscreen when I go to the beach, but the sun is out everyday… when I’m running errands or just sitting outside…so I realized I should be protecting my skin more often.
So I do put on sunscreen before applying my makeup primer. I’m currently using Black Girl Sunscreen and then I apply my IL Makiage Primer, which creates a smooth and poreless base for me to start applying my products.
I have bounced around a little when it comes to my foundation, but lately I have been using Maybelline Fit Me Dewy Smooth ( because I love the hydrated look) in the shade Mocha 360 and I use L.A. Girl PRO.conceal in the shade suede for my concealer ( serving face does not have to break the bank). I love love love mascara and I must admit I am obsessed with Urban Decay Perversion. It is THEEEE mascara to use when you want to make a statement without wearing false lashes. I am the girl who want my eyelashes to be seen not only from the side, but the front as well and this product does the job.
When it comes to eyeshadow, I tend to stay with the neutral colors and when I want to add a pop of color… my neutrals ( nude, brown, and cream) always remain to be my base for some reason… and it works out every time. My eyebrows are super important so I would say they get the most attention when doing my makeup routine.
Now let’s not forget the eyeliner ( brand varies with me haha as long as it is black), the lip liner (I use both brown and black… yes I said black.. trust me it givessss), and the lipstick and/or gloss. A clear or light pink gloss is always a life saver , but the Hot Chocolit Fantasy and the Fuchsia Flex from Fenty Beauty……wooo a gamechanger.
Top it all off with Morphe Luminous setting spray and your girl is off to take on the world.
And for my ladies who don’t dabble in makeup , continue to glow in the natural essence of you… I do rock the natural (bareface) as well with a layer of lip gloss and it’s always refreshing.
Either way the confidence behind it all commands the room… NOW SEERRVVEEEEE
What products do you pair with confidence to Serve Face?
With Love,
Beezsa
